                     Bathing in Himalayan Crystal Salt

                         Suggestions for Use

Bathing in natural salts is a completely different experience than a normal bath.  Some of the differences include:

  • Moisture is stored in the skin, not extracted, keeping it from drying out easily.
  • 30 minute salt baths compare to the toxin-release of 3-day fasts.
  • Minerals are absorbed through the skin while toxins are released through osmosis.
  • Body acidity is reduced and skin becomes ph-balanced.
  • An exhilaration and upliftment is felt afterwards from a restoration of energy and the release of toxins.
  • Bioelectric currents are reactivated and deficits/weak-links are balanced.

How to Prepare a Salt Sole (So-lay) Bath

Making sole from the salts requires only a quart jar, natural crystal salt, and a little effort.  You may make the concentration of salt to water to your liking, but it is recommended to start off slow with a lower ratio and build up.  So, a 1:100 ratio of sole to water is the recommendation.  Instructions:

  1. In a quart jar, place about a half-inch deep layer (about ½ cup) of the crystals in the bottom and cover them to the top of the jar with purified or artesian water that is non-polluted.  Let this sit about an hour.
  2. There must be crystal salt still in the jar after an hour to know that it is fully-saturated to concentration.  If this is the case, pour your sole solution into the tub, any leftover salt and all, unless you prefer otherwise.  Experiment and determine what concentration is suitable for you as increases in salt versus water will bring more dramatic results.
  3. For 1:100 ratios, here are a couple of recipes.

  • For 1 quart of sole = 100 quarts or 25 gallons of water (roughly a 2’ X 4’ tub filled 5 inches high)
  • For 1.6 quarts of sole = 160 quarts or 40 gallons of water (roughly a 2’ X 4’ tub filled 8 inches high)

  1. The water temperature is another key factor to get the maximum benefit from your salt bath.  Attempt to get the water at about body temperature of 98.6OF before getting in and the water will not cool down during your 30-minute bath.  This is due to the fact that the molecules of sole have a biophysical structure that is so strong that is causes them to move constantly in rhythm.
  2. Be aware that sole baths are demanding on the circulatory system and if you are suffering with heart ailments, you may want to start off with a foot-bath first.  You may increase the concentrations up to about 8:100, but try to work up to that through a few baths first.  Sole baths have a positive effect on many ailments and are worth the trouble, undoubtedly.  For a full effect, try taking one during a full moon as this is the time bio-rhythmically when we can optimally absorb the minerals and nutrients of the salt.
